Apple Inc. has working on this technology and has theoretically figured out and patent some designs at US Patent and Trademark Office to empower their new devices with Hydrogen fuel cells. Still this technology is not ready for mass deployment but not underestimating Apple’s vision towards technology with idea of adoring their new iphones with Hydrogen batteries could serve as boon for users.
These Hydrogen fuel cells are very light in weight,reduced in size, cost.and has ability to store 10 times more charge compare to our traditional Lithium ion batteries.

The idea of using hydrogen fuel is not new this technology is used in space rockets and various automobiles contributing Carbonless emissions. You might have studied and familiar about hydrochemical reaction during your Science classes about Hydrogen fuel cells which converts hydrogen and oxygen into water and produces an electrical energy or mechanical energy. More progress has been made in this direction to efficiently exploit the potential of hydrogen for mobile phones batteries.
