Google Plus

After an old fashioned loosing public interest social network show Orkut and flop shows by Buzz and Wave, google doesn’t remain back in race. Google has unveiled new service Google plus as a new social network that invites for only beta trail, in order to smooth out the rough edges as tey start the project.

Google comes up with an exciting new features +1ed for all its content that appearing on google search as well as on google+ profile. It’s a collection of social tools that Google is adding to its existing web services which, taken together, aim to create the kind of social web experience and community Google has generally failed to create thus far

.Or as Google puts it saying: “We’re adding some new stuff to Google to make sharing online more like sharing in real life.”Circles, Hangouts, Instant Upload, Sparks and  Huddle  are exciting  new features of Google+ profile.

Circling  up (Circles)  – This feature  allows you to group people into different social circles, so rather than having one generic friends list, as you would in Facebook, you create different circles of Google+ users.  As  this social project is about not on sharing with a mass group of friends, but targeted sharing with your various social groups. To do this, Google created the concept called Circles.

Hanging out (Hang out)– This feature lets Google+ users inform particular friends or Circles that they’re in a video-chatting mood. Up to 10 Google+ users can then join in the video conference.

Sparks

Sparks –   Using this users can share and pin up their featured interest to their profile Spark for quick accessing them. For instance Fashion, gardening, Films, recipies, Comics etc. features are included.

Instant Upload – This is another feature of Google+ for cameraphone users can use it anywhere. Snap a photo with your mobile and it will be automatically uploaded to a private Google+ album. Users can then choose which of the photo uploads to share with others. Google reckons this takes the legwork out of uploading all those photos of your family holiday to your social network.

Huddle Up  – Google+ includes concept of  Huddle for  a group messaging that lets everyone inside the circle know what’s going on, right this second.

Overall, Google freely admitted during its conversation that its previous attempt at social, Google Buzz, did not live up to expectations. Bradley Horowitz, Google’s vice president of product, says that part of the problem was that Buzz was just “tacked on” as a link on millions of Gmail accounts, something that Google won’t be repeating. Horowitz also says that, unlike the Buzz roll out, Google+ is a project that will roll out in stages.
